Once a portal is connected and synced, any object it contains — a property, workflow, segment, form, or custom object — can be saved as a reusable template.
Saving a template
- Open the object you want to save from its list view (Properties, Workflows, Segments, Forms, or Custom Objects).
- Click Save as template and give it a name.
- The template is saved to your account, independent of the portal it came from — it captures the object’s structure, not portal-specific IDs or contact data, so it’s safe to deploy anywhere.
Heads up: If you’re a consultant or agency, check that saving a client’s HubSpot objects as reusable templates is compatible with your contract’s IP and work-product ownership terms.
Grouping templates into a bundle
- Go to Bundles and create a new bundle, or open an existing one.
- Add the templates that belong together — a full campaign’s segment, form, and workflows, for example.
- Save the bundle. It now deploys as a single unit wherever you send it.
